SILVANA ANFOSSI

Silvana Anfossi is originally from Bahía Blanca (Argentina).

She has been working as a tango dancer and teacher for many years and currently teaches at ‘Tango Tanzen Macht Schön’ in Berlin.

 

In 2007 she took first place in the Metropolitan Championship of Milonga, which took place in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Throughout her career she has performed in legendary dance halls and milongas such as Salón Caning, Glorias Argentinas, Milonga 10, El Yeite, Floreal and Porteño y Bailarín.

 

‘TANGO is the thing that has changed my life the most.

It started as a hobby and quickly became my passion.

By dancing TANGO, I can express and transform my emotions... that's also the reason why I started teaching.

In its music, in its poetry, but above all in its embrace, we understand why TANGO is a unique dance... where communion with another becomes a miracle of intertwined bodies. A miracle of intertwined but independent bodies.

When you start dancing, you gradually get to know yourself better and empower yourself.... is the way I want to help dancers learn. So that everyone can achieve their best TANGO.’
